Nachträglich alles Gute zum Geburtstag – Schnabeltier Karte

The watercolor illustration is even better in person, with rich colors that really pop on the thick cardstock. My friend got a good laugh from the belated joke, and the premium weight made it feel like a thoughtful gesture rather than a last-minute thought.

Pulled this out last minute for a friend whose birthday I completely missed, and the thick 130 lb paper stock made it feel way more substantial than a typical card. The goofy platypus illustration totally diffused any awkwardness about being late.

The watercolor platypus is so charming that my friend didn't even care the card was two weeks late—she laughed out loud at the "you're in luck" pun on the front. The paper feels thick and luxurious, like a proper little piece of art rather than something you'd toss.
